5 Days of Polishing Your Mirror: Journal Prompts for Self-Discovery

Sometimes the best way to move forward is to look within. Today, we’re digging deep into the layers of our inner critic, our intuition, and the woman we are becoming. Grab your favorite notebook, a cup of coffee (oat milk, please!), and let's dive into these 5-day prompts.

Day 1: Confronting the Critic

Our inner critics often just echo the voices of people we’ve known. Think about it: when was the last time yours caught you off guard? Does that voice remind you of someone specific? I want you to look at what that critic thinks it's "protecting" you from and then figure out how to kindly tell that voice you've outgrown its influence.

Day 2: Reclaiming Your Intuition

We’ve all had those moments where we second-guessed our gut. Why did you do it at the time? Maybe there were signs, a feeling in your chest, or a nagging thought—that you weren't trusting yourself. How would you have acted differently if you’d just backed your own instincts? Let’s look at the steps we can take to start trusting ourselves again.

Day 3: Visualizing Your Highest Self

Think about the most confident version of you. How does she carry herself when she walks into a room? Whether it’s a pageant, a meeting, or a coffee shop—what’s her vibe? What are her routines, and what does she refuse to tolerate in her space? How can you show up as her today?

Day 4: The Freedom of Simply Being

We put so much pressure on ourselves to "achieve" or "do", just to prove we're worthy. What would it actually feel like to let go of that need to prove yourself? Imagine just existing. Fully and completely, without needing to justify your worth to anyone outside of yourself.

Day 5: Honoring Your Own Worth

Think back to the last time you felt truly seen, appreciated, and honored by someone else. Where were you, and how did that feel? Now, here’s the big question: how can you give that same sense of validation to yourself? Let's talk about how to recognize your own value.
